It is my first total war! I wanted something lighter in the 4x than EU4 (my most played strategy game ) but also an slow, kinda realistic RTS . The game ticks all the boxes nicely. I can understand people prefer newer games but Rome Remastered is still a good choice. 1.

We spend 3 games watching the consequences of those actions unfold and listening to humans and gods literally begging him to stop. Nothing felt out of place.
